CUBiC Magazine is about engaging children in Maths, English and Creative Thinking. Each issue has a central character and theme. For example Issue 14 featured Christa, and was all about Space and being an astronaut. Most of the maths is presented in the form of plain English, where the child has to work out what is being asked and what the numbers involved are.
Often time calculations are also involved. The child is encouraged to write short, creative pieces including poetry, preparing for a presentation at school and playing word games etc. The magazine has mini-features around the central theme and asks open question often philosophical in nature, to help the child think creativity about themselves and the world in which they live.
'My daughter fell in love with Cubic Magazine the first time she saw it and so did I. It's an amazing product for inspiring kids to think in different ways. Through a fun and relevant mix of problem solving, challenging puzzles and a colourful and appealing creative, kids are switched onto their potential. I would highly recommend it!'
